It is safe to say I have seen thousands of clients over the years and counting.
From my own personal journey to wholeness, I've found massage a powerful ally in restoration. Extreme abuse had incurred decades of physical/emotional trauma that did not resolve by counseling alone. For this reason I can be heard often referring to massage as "counseling for the body." The trust each client puts in receiving massage is never taken lightly.
As our society becomes more and more dependent on technology it is easier and easier to ignore and neglect true touch. It seems being "politically correct" has made us risk less. We can replace a simple hug with an online "hello" and call it "contact." That simply isn't enough. While personal interaction is the ideal, massage can be one of many ways to counteract our techno-social immersion.
Nurturing yourself has supremely rewarding benefits. The bottom line is simply this; we were never meant to live without contact. Massage is powerful. "I am whole. I am amazing. I am at peace & energetic. I am grounded." These are goals I hope all my clients gain.
